The Museum of Northern Arizona was founded in 1928 by the Flagstaff community to collect and preserve Native American artifacts and natural history specimens from the immediate area and the entire Colorado Plateau. The collections and exhibits fall under four main disciplines: anthropology, biology, geology and fine art.
